China Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate C3H6NNaS2 CAS:128-04-1 Suppliers, Manufacturer

Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate is the organosulfur compound with the formula NaS2NN(CH3)2. It is one of the simplest organic dithiocarbamates. It is a white or pale yellow, water soluble solid. The compound is a precursor to fungicides and rubber chemicals.

Product Description

Product Introduction

The pure form of Fomaxium is in the form of flake-like white crystals. It is highly soluble in water. The crystals obtained by recrystallization method contain 2.5 molecules of crystalline water. When heated to 115°C, 2 molecules of crystalline water are lost, and when heated to 130°C, all the crystalline water is lost. The industrial intermediate is a 15% aqueous solution, which is a transparent liquid of light yellow or grass green color. Its relative density is 1.06 and pH is 9 to 11. Fomaxium can also be used as a soil disinfectant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the physical appearance of pure Fomaxium?
Pure Fomaxium appears as white, flake-like crystals and is highly soluble in water.
How does heating affect Fomaxium's crystalline water?
Recrystallized crystals contain 2.5 molecules of water. When heated to 115°C, 2 molecules are lost, and heating further to 130°C causes all the crystalline water to be lost.
What are the specifications of the industrial intermediate form of Fomaxium?
The industrial intermediate is a 15% aqueous solution, presenting as a slightly yellow or grass-green transparent liquid with a relative density of 1.06 and a pH value ranging from 9 to 11.
What applications is Fomaxium used for?
It is utilized as a terminating agent for emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber and latex, an industrial bactericide, a metal precipitant, a vulcanizing accelerator for rubber products, and a soil disinfectant or agricultural insecticide.
What bactericides are synthesized using N,N-dimethyl dithiocarbamate sodium?
It serves as an essential intermediate for bactericides such as Fumonisin Dioxide, Fumonisin Iron, Fumonisin Ammonium, Fumonisin Zinc, and Fumonisin Nickel.
What packaging is available for Fomaxium?
Fomaxium is standardly supplied in 25KG bags.
